Opera ‘Written on Skin’

Ikesu works on the editing & visual special effects on a movie for the opera “Written on Skin”:
composition by George Benjamin, music direction by Maestro Kazushi Ono, creative direction by SHSH Shizuka Hairu. The movie was displayed on a large 12.6 meters wide by 3.6 meters high screen (LED Panels).

The opera was performed during 2 days in August 2019 in the famous Suntory Hall in Tokyo (Roppongi).
This was one of my biggest work, working with incredibly talented artists, in a field I didn’t know a lot.

The work was very versatile: video editing, color correction, special effects (remove of electric plugs, cars, and so on).
