Mundaneum Interactive Booth

/ 2015 Jun

IKESU (motion & graphic design), Tiny Big Story (programming) & 9inch (furniture) work together on an interactive booth for the Mundaneum Museum in Mons, Belgium.
The Mundaneum is usually known as the ‘Paper Google’. Created by Paul Otlet & Henri La Fontaine, it was the first ‘paper database’ made for books.
Paul Otlet was a visionary man with a lot of innovative ideas (for example he thought tu use tools like screen, phone and camera to connect a network to access information way before Internet). So working in such place was a really nice opportunity!

I designed the overall graphic of the booth interactive application, and also made 3 motion graphics videos which explain different aspect of the Mundaneum and Otlet & La Fontaine works.
